Sun Child is a dream folk project created by multi- instrumentalist and songwriter Brooke Garwood. Hailing from the eastern shores of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Sun Child draws you into a world of dizzy nostalgia, painting a sound that is both innately introspective and authentic.
2025 debut album, ‘Waves’ includes members Mike Monahan, Jeremy Prince, Millie Hudson, and Kevin Peacon. As the first full band release, it expands on Sun Child’s sonic landscape while preserving it’s intimate core - blending folk-pop songs you want to spin around to with quiet songs recorded in Brooke’s childhood home.
